If I say hydration what name pops into your head?

For most Camelbak would be at the top of the list.

Their reputation for creating gear for the elite is evident by the amount of special forces' units that use their equipment.

Now you wouldn't be going around drinking water from puddles or the local stream, unless you had to, but if you do ever go out for longer than a handful of hours you want to make sure that you have a hydration system with you and if you do run out of water you will have to refill and filter the water.

There is the option to grab a filter from your local...

M.A.P.S is an anagram for Microbiological Advanced Purification System.

It removes bacteria, viruses and cysts. Microbiological purification greater than NSF Protocol P248 levels in both Type 1 and Type 3 challenge water conditions...a fancy way of saying that it has been put through its paces and has come out on top.

One of the major benefits of using this filter, compared to other purification filters is that it is highly resistant to damage resulting from freeze (ice crystals) and thaw, when it is emptied according to instructions.
